The future of advertising presentation

Many thanks to the members of the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association and to the students of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for attending the presentation this past Monday. Also, a special thank you to Tim Brunelle for inviting me to speak and for being a great host while I was in town. Minneapolis has a very enthusiastic, warm group of people who were very gracious.

The title of the series of presentations is based around the idea of the future of advertising. I used my experience in digital marketing and PR to give a view of what I see as the future. I would love to hear what you think. The total run time is around 41 minutes. Just hit the play button and you can hear the original recording from the event. I hope you enjoy!

Matt,

A great pleasure having you with us in Minneapolis. Thanks for posting the show with audio. We're sharing the link around town.

See you in NYC for BS08.

Tim

Thanks again Tim. Looking forward to NYC.

Another fantastic presentation Matt. Keep 'em coming. It was funny to see that Jiggy Stardust made a cameo near the end. :-)

See you at Virtual Worlds and Blogger Social.

everyone should listen to this.

thanks for really helping to break this topic down.

cheers

Wow, what a presentation! Thanks for sharing, glad I finally got around to catching up on my RSS feeds - this presentation just made my day!

@Matt
This is a superb presentation - well worth the 40 minutes to start the day. Great examples too to bring it to life. Especially great brain food as today as I have to look into what a potential client could/should be doing in a few years time. Apart from hiring us obviously.
Wondered if you'd also seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsHwYU7jxVY

Greg -- Thanks and I'm looking forward to meeting you in person finally.

Lisa and Jon -- I really appreciate those comments!

Nicholas -- I'm glad you got value from it. It's definitely worth looking at what's coming in 3-5 years so we're ready for shifts ahead of time.
